Thank you so much for answering my prayers! Thank you for meeting with me tonight and showing me new things in your word. Thank you for caring about the little, insignificant things in my life. So Father, if you can answer my silly, little prayers, please PLEASE answer my plea for this unbelieving friend! I'm calling out to you Lord. Save him! Save his soul! Make him believe! I beg of you Father, change his heart. For your glory.
Help me to rejoice in my trials, Lord. To be glad when others persecute me for my faith. I pray that I would keep looking to the reward. Keep my eyes fixed on YOU!
I ask that you would help me not to be angry with my brothers; not to insult them; and not to ever call them a fool. Help me to rejoice in my trials.
Thank you for food--that I don't have to go hungry. Thank you for my family. For my friends. For my job. Thank you for saving me. I love you. May my love for you grow ever deeper.
Love,
Christi Joy
"Thank you for Saving me!
What can I say?
You are my everything!
A sinner called by name."
I really have been seeing the need in my own life to carry take up my cross willingly. It is far too easy to give into the fleshly desire to dodge confronting others when God's name is taken in vain, God's Word is slandered, etc. As believers we know what the right thing is to do but we often put "self preservation" ahead of standing up for the truth. We need to pray more for boldness. The moment the world knows we are a christian they watch our testimony and what we do critically. Its time we ask God for the help to be the light of hope reaching far across the darkness of sin and hopelessness in the lives of those who don't know Jesus Christ. But we have to be willing to let the Holy Spirit work in us because there is no way to change others by human strength alone. God bless you as you strive to live for and please Him.
